MMSlam Actor Charmaine Reedy Cast in Feature Film: “Silver Tongues”
Acclaimed actress Charmaine Reedy who has performed consistently at the Manhattan Monologue Slam, and was signed by show Co-Producer Philip Galinsky, has been booked to play the role of Flora in the feature film “Silver Tongues”.

The film follows two lovers who use their talent for acting and performance to force people, couples and communities against each other for their own devious sport, until the game grows treacherous and they turn against each other… Charmaine plays a skeptical and accusative woman, a member of a Reverend’s congregation, who goes through an emotional and moral roller coaster and ultimately winds up defending and supporting her spiritual leader.
Produced by Palm-Star Entertainment is an
independent film company based in New York and Los Angeles. Palm-Star is
focused on developing literary driven properties and raises independent production
financing for its smaller budgeted films.
Palm-Star is developing a feature film
adaptation of Peter Biskind’s Down and Dirty Pictures: Miramax, Sundance, and
the Rise of Independent Film into a feature length comedy.
Ken Bowser (“Easy Riders, Raging Bulls”) is attached to direct. 
Additionally, Palm-Star optioned and is developing Bret Easton Ellis’ International
bestseller Lunar Park and recently sold and distributed its first
two features, “Fifty Pills” and “Premium”.
